Bird watching tours

The Southern Caribbean coast has a very diverse avifauna due to a variety of habitats. The region is home to more than 380 species of birds. During our bird watching trips we search for well known species like toucans, kingfishers and manakins but we also look for inconspicuous birds of the forest understory like ant birds, wrens and warblers. The Biologist Rolf Blancke counts with over ten years experience of bird watching in Costa Rica.
