Hotel Cabinas Tropical The hotel is owned and operated by
biologist and scientific author Dipl.-Biol. Rolf Blancke and
his wife Juana. We have been offering accommodation and guided
rainforest tours since 1998. The Hotel Cabinas Tropical is situated in the small village Puerto
Viejo de Talamanca at the Southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Located
at the edge of the village, it is only 150 yards walking distance to the
ocean. |
| All rooms have a private bathroom, hot water (no electrical shower
heads), refrigerator, fans, mosquito nets, satellite TV, quality
mattresses and a terrace with hammocks. We also have rooms equipped with air conditioning. At Cabinas Tropical we offer free wireless internet for our guests. The Southern Caribbean coast around Puerto Viejo is well known for its beautiful beaches, surf waves, coral reefs and the extensive rainforests, which at several location reach all the way to the ocean. |
